Diana Leemon will speak on “Fungi as bio-control agents”. Members will present foray reports on Ravensbourne, Linda Garrett, Springbrook update and the Polypore workshop, followed by supper. Tuesday 14th August at 7pm at the F. M.Bailey Room, Qld Herbarium, Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens.
Alistair McTaggart will be presenting “Rust and smut fungi of Australia”.
Dr Tony Young will be presenting “Toxic Fungi”. Tony is regarded as one of the foremost experts on Australian fungi, particularly toxic species. He is the author of “A Field Guide to the Fungi of Australia”.
BCC Community Conservation Partnership Program. This will be a day of learnings and thought provoking insights from some of South East Queensland’s leading ecologists and on ground participants.
