Members will remember previous forays held at this venue. There has been rain and lots of fungi are coming up at Bellthorpe, so do come along and help us record them. We will spend the morning in the field starting at 9. Bring a picnic lunch, we will discuss what we have found over lunch…

Sean Freeman will speak on “Wood Decay Fungi and Tree Hosts: a co-evolutionary perspective” Tuesday 9th October at 7pm at the F. M.Bailey Room, Qld Herbarium, Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens.

The first workshop for 2015 will be on Spore Prints and Pics, scheduled for the 29th of August. Members are asked to submit ideas for another workshop. Suggestions so far include “How to ID Small Brown Fungi” or a “Beginners Workshop”. For more details, go to our Calendar of Events.
