The Tropical Fungi Project is a QMS sponsored project based in Cairns

Tropical Australia has a rich diversity of fungi, but many people are unaware of the role of fungi in the ecosystem. The Tropical Fungi Project will provide local people with the necessary skills of capturing images, recording data for the Atlas-of-Living-Australia, making collections for identification and scientific analysis, while concurrently learning about the ecological roles of fungi.
