Foray Reports and an informal meeting where members are asked to bring something of interest, for example a book, or to speak briefly about such things as an interesting web site or a favourite species, etc..
This workshop will be presented by Dr Tony Young. Spores from many different fungal species will be examined. The workshop will be held at the Pooh Corner Environment Centre, 100 Wolston Rd, Walcol. If you have a microscope, it would be very much appreciated if you could bring it along to this workshop!

Monday, 2 April (Easter Monday) Meet at The Fort, Corner Eddystone Road and Alambi Crescent, Corinda. Please arrive at 9.00am for a 9.30am start. Sean Freeman will speak on “Wood Decay Fungi and Tree Hosts: a co-evolutionary perspective” Tuesday 9th October at 7pm at the F. M.Bailey Room, Qld Herbarium, Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens.
Vanessa Ryan will be giving a presentation: “A Beginner’s Foray into Fungi”. Vanessa will talk about her first solo forays; her experiences, questions raised and lessons learned along the way. The forays were in Girraween and Bunya Mountains National Parks.
