Gillian Brown, Collections Manager at the Queensland Herbarium (BRI) will be speaking about "Processes in Herbarium".
Afterwards, Vanessa Ryan will give a short talk about her recent visits to the Kew Fungarium and Edinburgh Herbarium.
This will be the Annual General Meeting. Norm Duke will be presenting “Your local mangroves and tidal wetlands – wicked or wondrous?”
There will be a report on the Spore Prints and Pics Workshop. Members are asked to bring something of interest, for example a book, or to speak briefly about such things as an interesting web site or a favourite species, etc..
A reminder: We’ll be returning to the Bioblitz sites 10.00am Sunday 11th March to 10.00am Tuesday 13th March Prof. Roger Kitching will again be setting up light traps the night before, so there will already be some moths to look at on the Sunday morning. More details can be found on the website
