The quickest route from Brisbane is to follow the Bruce Highway to the Cooroy turnoff.
Take the Cooroy-Noosa Road (Jack Hassett Drive) to Tewantin.
In Tewantin, the road becomes Butler Street, then turn left onto the Tewantin-Boreen Point Road (McKinnon Drive).
Follow that road 3-4 km to the Lake Cooroibah Road on the right. Turn right.
Travel along that road, passing three streets on the left, the last one being Amaroo Place (approx. 2km along Lake Cooroibah Road).
Just after that you reach the National Park on the left.
There is a locked gate there. Fran will have the key and we will just drive into the park a few metres, as there is little off-road parking outside the gate.
(If you reach the dirt on Lake Cooroibah Road, or Johns Road as it becomes, you’ve gone too far! Turn back 100m or so.)
There are public toilets at a small park near the Goodwin Street corner in Tewantin. (There are no facilites at the foray site.)
