Guest speaker Dr Rod Rogers BSc(Hons) PhD DSc – Lichens
Rod Rogers taught and conducted research at the University of Queensland from 1971 to 2001. He is the author of many research publications and two books on lichen systematics.

This will be led by the world renowned Truffle expert and all round good guy, Dr Jim Trappe, who will be teaching us and identifying our finds.
Jim has been traveling to Australia for the last 30 plus years hunting and identifying our truffle species. He is very knowledgeable and has mentored Australian specialist such as Teresa Lebel and Sandra Abell. He has written many papers, named many species and assisted many of our mycologists and field mycologists.
Jim has been crucial in the success of Australia’s edible truffle industry and is sponsored by the Braidwood Truffle Festival. Thank you Peter Marshall.
