There will be two reports given on recent QMS projects. Megan Prance will speak about the Brisbane Fungi Project and Sandra Tuszynska on the Woodfordia Project.

As always, members are also asked to bring something of interest, for example specimens, a book, or to speak briefly about such things as an interesting web site or a favourite species, etc..

Linda Garrett is one of the Queensland Mycological Society’s regular foray areas.

The Linda Garrett Reserve is a short drive to the west of Mapleton, in the Blackall Ranges. The QMS undertake regular visits to the reserve which has a wide range of mature living trees and fine collections of logs and old tree stumps that support some rare and unusual wood inhabiting fungi.

For more information about the foray site, go to our page on Linda Garrett.
