Open Day at the Maroochy Bushland Botanic Gardens.
This is part of a nation-wide event highlighting the work and value of botanic gardens communities – displaying, educating, protecting and researching – connecting plants and people in all possible ways. This year the Friends of MRBBG are sharing the event with community partners interested in native plants, wildlife, art and mycology (mushrooms and fungi).

Sunday 28 May, 8.30am to Lunch.
Organised by the Friends of the Gardens, the morning will include koala-spotting as well as guided walks, displays and free information on local plants and wildlife.
Learn fascinating facts about fungi, and find out why our Gardens are so special. There will be refreshments and light lunches available or bring a picnic and finish the day soaking in the tranquil diversity of our bushland gardens and walking trails.
