Morels

These fleshy fungi have a stem topped by an irregularly folded top. They smell pleasant.

Cup and Disc Fungi

These small fungi are usually shaped like discs, cups, bowls or vases; some may have small stems. They are found on woody substrates, litter, soil or moss.

Earth Tongues and Club Fungi

These small club-like fungi may be simple or branched; some have a distinct top. Both are found on soil, moss and wood. This includes ‘vegetable caterpillars’ which emerge from parasitized insect larvae.
